March to Your Own Beat

coach-blog-030117-heart-shoes-beat I’ve talked to a few people and many of us have had an odd February. Personally, I felt disconnected and out of synch. So this month, I want to get moving again on what’s important to me. I’m going to march to my own beat.

How do you find your beat?

You can find it in your heart beat – when you think of a loved one or a dream, doesn’t your pulse increase a bit? That means your heart is invested. Chase after that little boost. When you’re feeling low, think of something you love or, better yet, do something you love. Catch that beat and follow it.

Just like a favorite song gets your toe tapping or your shoulders shimmying, your beat will make you want to move. When you feel stuck or disconnected, you’ve just lost the beat. Look for it, chase it, catch it, and then march to it.
