Creativity Cornucopia

coach-blog-112316-creative-menu Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the US. One of the traditional symbols of this holiday is a cornucopia, a “horn of plenty,” bursting with harvest foods. In addition to this traditional cornucopia, I wish you a creativity cornucopia.

Give yourself a feast of creativity input to inspire you through the holidays and into the new year.

Here are some ideas to put in your creativity cornucopia:

* Reread a favorite author
* Listen to a favorite musician
* Make a Pinterest board with your favorite works of visual art
* Watch a biography or documentary on a favorite artist or writer
* Visit a local museum and sit in front of an artwork for a few minutes
* Decorate your holiday table with handmade place cards or centerpieces
* Play with kid artforms just for fun (tempera paints, fun clay, crayons)
* Look at a magazine at the library for an artform you don’t know well (architecture, quilting, ceramics, etc.)

What other ideas do you have to add to your creativity cornucopia?
