Questing Questions are a regular feature on my blog; basically, a journal question to get you further along in your life quest. If journaling isn’t your thing, feel free to take the question as your focus for a meditation, a prayer, or a piece of artwork.
I mentioned Hungry Ghosts again last week, so today I invite you to reflect on your own empty places so you can take care of yourself and fill them before a habitual problem arises.
* Where do I feel empty?
* How can I fill this need for myself?
Emptiness can show up as a longing, an ache, an uncomfortable lump in your stomach. Looking at it can be difficult, but we can only heal our wounds by looking at them first.
By tending to our empty places, we keep the soil moving and prevent weeds from growing there until we find the seeds to grow what we really desire; then we have a nice, clear place ready to plant them.
Tend to your empty places and give yourself what you need. What do you need?
