Theme: Graduate

Coach Blog 060816 graduation If you’re in North America, you probably know someone who is graduating from school. My nephew graduated from preschool, my niece-in-law graduated from high school, and my friend graduated from a masters program. These are all great achievements and I’m happy for each of them, and excited to see what they do in the next phase of their lives.

Even if you’re not in school, you’re still learning lessons.
We’re all moving ahead in the school of life, which is never-ending.

Notice in your past what levels you’ve gone through in this school of life. Any point of transition bumps you up into new experiences and new lessons. Some big transitions have obvious lessons; starting or ending a significant relationship, starting or losing a job, starting or completing a degree, moving to a new location, starting a new health program, taking up a hobby. There are also seemingly smaller transitions that can leave big wakes; having a deep conversation with a friend, reading an inspiring book, witnessing something that expanded your heart, mind, or soul.

When was the last time you felt you got through a tough life lesson and you were able to graduate to the next level?

Look for the life lesson you’re working through right now and spend some time focusing on it so you can move closer to graduation.

Everything around us can be a tool for learning if we open to learn from our experiences.
