Impossible – I’m possible

Coach Blog 082514 Impossible is a relative term.

It’s impossible for me to lift a log with my bare hands, but I could probably do it with a rope and pulley. Before 1950, it was impossible for a human to run a mile in under 4 minutes, but that record was broken by Sir Roger Bannister in 1954 and he only held the record for 46 days before John Landy ran it faster.

What is impossible today could be possible tomorrow.

Think of something that appears impossible for you today; maybe getting out of debt, finding a love relationship, or accomplishing a yoga handstand. Every day, take one little step toward possibility.

Begin with your mindset; be open to the possibility and imagine what it feels like to have that reality. Look for actions you can take to move toward that reality. Take an action every day; clip a coupon, smile at a stranger, hold a little longer in downward dog. Figure out how to get from here to there.

Turn “impossible” into “I’m possible”.
