Lazy or Receptive

You don’t need to doing big action to make progress on your goals. For a fiction writer, daydreaming can be considered an essential writing task. Both of these examples involve getting quiet and allowing ourselves to receive new images and ideas.

Don’t let anyone guilt you about taking quiet time. It helps us rest, recharge, and receive.

Think of a way you would love to rest, recharge, and receive – maybe a long walk in the woods, maybe a soak in the tub, maybe sitting in the garden under a shady tree. Find some time in the next two weeks to schedule this for yourself.

For me, I’ve been tempted to have a picnic. I will look into some nature spot options and schedule it in the next week or two.
